THE DALMORE // HIGHLANDS, SCOTLAND
An overall favorite, this scotch was super smooth. Our mixed group of palettes all agreed on this one. In this specific tasting we had 2 missions. To give an overall rating/cost rating as well as compare a bottle of Dalmore purchased in the States and a bottle purchased in Scotland proper and brought over. This rating will be divided by the labels of USA and UK. Cheers Josh on a fantastic find. At $90/bottle, there is a reason this smooth seducer is at a higher price point than our other whisky tasted to date.
The Aroma: Citrus fruits, chocolate and aromatic spices
On the Palate: Seville oranges, dried fruits and hints of vanilla pod
Finishing Notes: Roasted coffee and dark chocolate
