This page focuses on those that support our club members the most, our wives (and significant others). While serious whiskey meetings occur in the home base of WUG, the Wine Wives of WUG (as they are self proclaimed) hold the fort down by the fire and wet bar consuming various wines brought to them from various suppliers in the area, with a heavy focus on wines recommended by the fine staff of Funistrada.
It is here that we will display the monthly wine(s) shared. It is likely that we will not have a review of these wines as it is not quite that formal. We will know that this wine was good by the slow changing coloration of their teeth.

This Malbec has intense bordeaux color with violet hues. There are scents of ripe plums, spices and violet flowers with subtle notes of vanilla. It is packed with fresh red fruit and a pleasant acidity that balances nicely with the firm tannins. The lingering finish is round and generous.
It is solid and smooth from the beginning with cola, pastry and blackberry aromas. The palate is fresh, full and healthy. this wine is roasted on the finish, where coffee comes into play. right on the spot for value-priced Malbec.
**Basically what she said is that this is going to be legendary and enjoy.**

February’s Wine Wives of Wug, or WWW as it is known, consumed the remaining Familia Barberis and
Ben Marco Malbec. Additionally, the group broke into some La Vieille Ferme. With kids of various ages running around (we are family friendly), some of our mom’s utilized the wine sippy cups!
